Step 1:
Click on the “Start” icon positioned at the bottom left corner of your screen. Click on “All apps”.

Click on the “Timer” tab located at top of the “Alarm and Clock” app window.

The timer has options like “Start” to Start the timer and “Expand” to make it full screen.

Step 4:
If you want to add a desired timer, click on plus “+” button located at the bottom right corner of the “Alarm & clock” window.
Step 5:
Enter a timer name. Select the duration of the timer in Hours, Minutes and Seconds respectively. Scroll the desired values of minutes , hour and time and then click on it to select it in respective column. Finally click on tick icon as shown.
Click on the “Save” icon to save the timer. It is located at the bottom right corner of the app window.
Step 6 – Now, click on play button to start timer alarm.
After the desired time, the sound notification will notify about the end of the timer time.

Next, double-click the “Interactive Logon: Prompt user to change password before expiration” policy on the right pane.
Enter the number of days prior to password expiration that you want to notify users, and click OK.
Reboot your computer for the policy to take effect.
If you’re unable to access Local Group Policy Editor, use the following registry tweak to change password expiry notice period:
Open Registry Editor and navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionWinlogon.
Double-click the PasswordExpiryWarning value on the right pane.
Click the Decimal radio button and enter the number of days before password expires that you want to notify users, and click OK.
Close Registry Editor and reboot your computer.

If you’re running Windows Server 2016 / 2014 / 2012 / 2008 domain controller, use this method to prompt domain users to change password before expiration:
Click the Start button, select Administrative Tools and then click Group Policy Management.
In the console tree, expand the Forest -> Domains -> your domain. Right-click the domain policy you want to work with, and then select Edit.
When the Group Policy Management Editor window appears, navigate to Computer ConfigurationPoliciesWindows SettingsSecurity SettingsLocal PoliciesSecurity Options.
Then double-click the “Interactive Logon: Prompt user to change password before expiration” setting in the right pane.
